If you have a nut allergy, check your pantry. Hampton Farms is recalling some of its mixed nuts products due to an undeclared hazelnut allergen, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Hazelnuts are not noted in the product's allergen warning statement on the packaging, but are included in the ingredient list, triggering the recall.

The products were distributed between September 2 and September 9 and were packaged in clear plastic tubs and sold at Stop&Shop stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island.

The following products are included in the recall:

Product Name Size  Best-By Date Lot Code UPC
 Mixed Nuts Roasted Unsalted 8 ounces  08/18/2026 23025 8 10111 02237 8
 Mixed Nuts Roasted and Salted 8 ounces  08/26/2026 23025 8 10111 02236 1

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to hazelnuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products, the FDA warns. Reactions to tree nut allergies include hives, vomiting, and swelling, according to the Cleveland Clinic. So far, no illnesses have been reported in relation to the recall.

If you purchased these products, return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or throw them out. For questions, contact Hampton Farms customer service representatives at 1-800-313-2748, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
