Trader Joe’s Is Launching New Mini Insulated Totes Just in Time for Summer—Here’s How to Get One

When Trader Joe's introduces a new food item, it's big news. When the popular grocer launches new tote bags, it's headline-worthy.

The chain recently announced that it's launching a new insulated mini tote collection for summer, according to People.

The Trader Joe's Summer Fun Mini Insulated Totes, which will hit stores May 20, will be available in six different designs. There's a silhouette design of a Trader Joe's store with palm trees that comes in green, orange, blue, and purple, as well as two striped versions. The bags have a zipper top and two reinforced handles.

The 10-by-6-by-6-inch totes boast a 1.5-gallon capacity and will be available in Trader Joe's stores nationwide for $3.99.

Back in 2024, the store released its first mini insulated tote bags with the same silhouette design in teal and magenta. The bags are ideal for taking snacks and drinks to the beach, bringing supplies to a pool party, or even storing your grocery haul.

Known for producing a shopping frenzy with its mini canvas tote bags, which have been released in various seasonal colors, the grocery store chain told People it also plans to debut a striped mini canvas tote this summer, but there's no word on when you can expect those bags in stores.

Those totes, which cost $2.99, sell out quickly and can be found for resale on eBay; the mini pastel pink tote that was released earlier this year is currently listed on the site for $15,000.
