Trader Joe's Just Dropped Big News—Here's What Shoppers Should Know

The grocer continues to add locations to its "coming soon" list.

If you've wanted to try out Trader Joe's beloved snacks or get your hands on one of the store's viral tote bags, then you may be in luck. The popular grocery chain just announced plans to open six new locations across the U.S.

The new stores are set to open in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Kansas, and Washington. These locations are in addition to the two stores Trader Joe's announced earlier this month, which are planned for Louisiana and New York.

The newest Trader Joe’s locations listed on the "coming soon" page on the grocer's website include:

  • 8700 Shawnee Mission Pkwy., Merriam, Kan.
  • 3377 U.S. Hwy. 190, Mandeville, La.
  • 8111 S Dixie Hwy., West Palm Beach, Fla.
  • 2150 E Broadway Blvd., Tucson, Ariz.
  • 14035 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd., Woodinville, Wash.
  • 1000 Medley Blvd., Johns Creek, Ga.

While no confirmed opening dates have been announced yet, a spokesperson for Trader Joe’s told Nexstar that upcoming stores listed on the website typically open three to six months later.

The company currently operates across 42 states; Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Mississippi, and West Virginia are the only states without locations.
