Trader Joe's Just Dropped Its Smallest Canvas Tote Ever—Get It Before It Sells Out

Following the enormous success of its viral mini canvas totes, Trader Joe’s just introduced a micro version that's available for a limited time.

Measuring only about 4.5 inches by 3.5 inches, the tiny bag is big enough to carry your keys, some spare change, and maybe a lip balm. But inside you'll also find a roomier nylon reusable grocery bag for hauling bigger items.

The grocer debuted its original, limited-edition mini canvas tote bags in 2024, which measure about 13 inches long by 11 inches tall by 6 inches wide. The initial launch was followed by a pastel edition that was released this past spring, and a trick-or-treat version hit shelves this fall.

The bags have caused a lot of buzz on social media, causing people to flock to Trader Joe's in the hopes of scoring one of its viral bags.

"The smaller the Tote, the bigger the excitement," Trader Joe's writes on its website. "Following this theorem to its logical conclusion, we simply had to introduce Trader Joe's Canvas Micro Tote, a reusable bag delivered in delightfully Lilliputian proportions, into our stores for a limited time."

The new micro tote costs $2.99 and is available in three classic trim colors—red, green, and blue.

"Be sure to pick up a Trader Joe’s Canvas Micro Tote with Grocery Bag sooner rather than later," the grocer urges. "If our other Mini Totes are any indication, these little Totes are bound to be a great big deal."
