If you've been hoping to try a "Pub Sub" or the popular "Decadent Cookies" from Publix, you may be in luck. The supermarket chain is set to open five new stores by early July, as it continues to grow across the Southeast U.S.

The openings, which are scheduled between June 11 and July 2, include four locations in Florida and one in northern Kentucky, according to Publix's “New Store Openings” page. The company currently operates more than 1,400 stores across eight states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

The new stores will open in the following locations:

  • Northchase Center, Bradenton, Florida (June 11)
  • Cold Spring Pointe, Cold Spring, Kentucky (June 17)
  • Publix at Thompson Nursery, Winter Haven, Florida (June 18)
  • The Shoppes at Citrus Creek, Davenport, Florida (June 25)
  • Island Walk Shopping Center, Fernandina Beach, Florida (July 2)

Earlier this month, the grocer also opened the West Broward Shopping Center store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
