Danone U.S. recently announced a recall of all flavors and sizes of its YoCrunch products due to the potential presence of plastic fragments in the toppers, which contain add-ins like Oreos and M&Ms. If consumed, the plastic pieces could potentially cause choking. Consumer complaints reporting plastic pieces in the toppers triggered the voluntary recall. According to Danone, the plastic pieces are transparent, may have sharp edges, and are up to an inch in length. The recall only affects the separately packaged topper cup, not the packaged yogurt container. A complete list of the recalled products, along with corresponding UPC codes and expiration dates, can be found on Danone's website. Some of the flavors affected by the recall include Yo Crunch Vanilla Yogurt with M&M's, YoCrunch Strawberry Yogurt with Granola, YoCrunch Vanilla Yogurt with Oreos, and YoCrunch Vanilla Yogurt With Cookie Dough.
