HydroJug is recalling certain kids sport tumblers due to a potential choking hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The rivets on the handle of the tumbler can come loose, causing the handle to detach, posing a choking hazard for children. Product: 14-ounce Children’s Sport Tumbler, sold in five patterns: Cowgirl, Daisy Checkers, Dinosaur, Sport, and BowsUPC: 810084150177, 810084150450, 810084150566, 810084150580, or 810084150610 on the packagingSerial number: 2350101 will be etched into the tumbler on the bottom under the rubber boot, or there will be no serial number The tumblers were sold at Academy Sports, Scheels, Combined Sales Company, Gordons Ace Hardware, Bucks Ace, Kents Grocery, and Basin Sports, and online at Hydrojug, Amazon, Well.ca, and iHerb.com from May 17, 2025, to June 6, 2025, for about $25. About 17,000 units are affected. No injuries have been reported because of the defect. If your child has one of these tumblers, stop using it and contact HydroJug for a free replacement lid. Email the company at [email protected] and provide order details (if available), shipping address, and photos of the bottom of the tumbler showing the serial number or that there is no serial number.
