In rare circumstances, an infection can spread to the urine, blood, bones, joints, the brain, or other internal organs, causing more severe illnesses such as meningitis, endocarditis, and arthritis. Symptoms usually start 6 hours to 6 days after infection and usually last 4 to 7 days. If you purchased either of these products, do not eat them.
