Springtime brings fragrant flowers, warm sunshine—and Trader Joe's Lemon-Flavored Mini Sheet Cake.
One of the most anticipated seasonal treats from the popular grocery chain, the cake is back in stores, according to numerous social media posts and on the r/TraderJoes forum on Reddit. But it's only here for a limited time.
Known for its moist texture and tangy lemon flavor, the cake is topped off with a lemon-infused cream cheese frosting and a sprinkle of lemon zest. And at less than $6, it sells out fast.
One commenter on Reddit shared that they "got one today and I doubt it'll last the weekend 🤣 They freeze well though so I'll have to preserve a couple to last through the season!"
Another offered up a serving suggestion: "I like to take the frozen wild blueberries, heat them a bit in the microwave so they have a compote-esque texture (no additional sweetener necessary), and put that over a slice. Sooooo good." Or you can try it with locally grown strawberries, as one poster does.

While some fans admit to eating the whole cake in one sitting by themselves, the dessert is also a sweet way to wrap up an intimate dinner party with friends.
If you want to dig into this returning favorite again or try it for the first time, be sure to head to your local Trader Joe's soon and grab one while you can—it sold out in just a few weeks last year.
