Trader Joe’s Is Opening 7 New Stores—See If Your City Made the List The opening dates have yet to be announced. The grocery store chain is set to open seven new locations across the U.S. This latest store news comes after the store announced 30 new stores across 18 states in July and 21 new stores across 13 states in May. According to its updated “coming soon” list on its website, the company will open new stores in Texas, South Carolina, Washington, California, Connecticut, Florida, and New York. Trader Joe's currently operates stores across 42 states. Famous for its low prices and assortment of popular snacks and freezer items, the grocery store chain recently brought back its autumnal products and introduced some new ones.
