Over the weekend, Martha announced she welcomed a third member to her furry family of Persian cats—Lilium. She is a brown Persian longhair cat that Martha adopted through Rock 'N Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue organization based in Bedford Hills, New York. Lilium is originally from Doha, the capital city of Qatar.

In a recent blog post, Martha shares that Lilium has joined her two other Persian cats, Magnolia and Dahlia, and they are getting along quite well. Martha knew Lilium was the one for her when she received the message and photos of her from Rock 'N Rescue: "I knew I wanted to meet her right away."

"Lilium is about three years old with beautiful facial expressions and markings," Martha writes. "She's independent, confident, very friendly, and so far loves the attention from everyone here at the farm." Persian cats are well-loved for their regal appearance, but Martha notes Lilium is not only regal, but playful.

Martha posted pictures of Lilium on Instagram, sharing photos that showcase how comfortable she is in her new home. Many viewers commented on the post, admiring Lilium's beauty and Martha's love for animals. "Gorgeous, lucky girl to have been rescued by you!" one person wrote. Another wrote: "Lilium is a beauty."

All of Martha's cats, including Magnolia, Dahlia, Cino, Mayo, Blackie, and now Lilium, reside at her Bedford farm. Martha shares that they are all thriving as they explore the house and farm.

Martha's 152-acre property in Bedford, N.Y., is home to all her beloved animals. As a well-known animal lover, Martha cares for her horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and more. We wish Lilium continued happiness in her new home alongside Martha's furry family.
