It's no secret that dogs are intelligent animals with keen instincts. When a pregnant dog owner shared a video of her German Shepard interacting with her unborn baby, viewers fell in love with the idea of the canine becoming a big sibling.

On February 17, the mom-to-be posted the video on TikTok under the username @diariodeeme. The video features various clips of her dog, Eme, resting its snout on her growing belly throughout her pregnancy.

"The first clip is from week 9, the second is from today: week 29 and counting. Preparing to be the best big sister," the caption read.

The video received over 900 thousand views on TikTok and hundreds of comments. Many people commented on how cute the interaction was while others shared their experience with their German Shepherds. One person said her dog knew she was pregnant before she did. "She was smelling my tummy, scratching and laying on it. And no one was allowed to get close to me," the comment read.

Another person who is 16 weeks pregnant wrote that her two German Shepherds are "obsessed" with her. "They have been acting like this a little bit before we found out," she commented.

In another video posted before the viral TikTok, Eme sleeps with her head on her owner's pregnant belly. "Every time she opens her eyes it's because she gets a kick from her little brother, but she doesn't want to miss anything," the caption read. It's safe to say Eme will be the best big sister to her little brother.
