It's no secret that dogs are smart animals, learning various commands like how to sit, lay down, and roll over. A recent TikTok video showcased that these furry animals can also learn to communicate with humans with the press of a button when trained.

On February 16, the TikTok account @ozzy.dog.of.barkn posted a video of Ozzy, a Cockapoo—a mix between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle—pushing a green button that prompts the question, "Can I have a treat, please?"

In the clip, the pup continuously pushes the button with his paw, being rewarded with a treat from his owner. Text overlay on the video reads: "Only got his buttons tonight and already abusing the treat one."

Viewers took to the comment section to share their thoughts on Ozzy's new skill. "They're so clever🤣," one person said. Another wrote, "The way he settled in. Proud of himself." Ozzy's owner replied, "He was so proud once he realized all he had to do was tap a button for a treat and the human gave them on demand. He probably thinks he's trained me🤣."

But Ozzy is learning more than to ask for treats. In another video posted to TikTok, his owner clicks a blue button that prompts the phrase: "Please give me some love." When pressed, Ozzy is rewarded with "cuddles and belly rubs," the caption states.
