Puppy Bowl 2026 Is This Weekend—Here’s How to Watch the Cutest Game of the Year

On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX.

But before those players battle it out on the gridiron, you can catch a group of cuter and cuddlier competitors.

From 2 to 5 pm ET on February 8 (the Super Bowl kick-off is at 6:30 pm ET), Puppy Bowl XXI will air on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, HBO Max, and Discovery+. That's when Team Ruff will face Team Fluff in hopes of getting their paws on the coveted "Lombarky" trophy.

Team Fluff's lineup includes Benito (Siberian Husky-Chihuahua from Puerto Rico), Showgirl (Chow Chow-Rottweiler), and Chappell Bone (Pembroke Welsh Corgi). Team Ruff features Lobster Roll (Bulldog-Border Collie), Brûlée (Boston Terrier-French Bulldog), and Miso (American Cattle Dog-Beagle).

The 16 players are also competing for the title of "Most Pupular" in the Pupularity Playoffs. The final round puts Boston terrier RuPaw from Bosley’s Place in Smyrna, Ga., against a basset hound named Rhett from Homeward Bound in Mishawaka, Ind. The winner will be announced on February 7. You can vote for your favorite on the Puppy Bowl website.

This is the 22nd year of the call-to-adoption television event. The 2026 sports spectacular includes a record-breaking 150 dogs from 72 shelters across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the British Virgin Islands, including some with special needs.

For the first time, Puppy Bowl XXII will also debut a special exhibition game with lovable senior dogs as Team Oldies and Team Goldies during halftime. For even more cuteness, tune in to the Kickoff Show right before the big game at 1 p.m. ET.
