Woman Finds Rare Lenox Seaside Spice Jar Collection at the Thrift Store for Just $48

Last year, Lenox announced it was bringing back its iconic Spice Village at its original 1989 price. The collection features 24 hand-painted pastel houses with gold details. While this crowd-favorite collection is easier than ever to get your hands on, other Spice Village collections from Lenox remain elusive.

One collection that is virtually impossible to find is the brand's seaside-inspired spice jars. During a trip to the thrift store, one lucky woman found all 24 houses in the set.

In a video that has since gone viral, Instagram user Gabrielle Hernandez posted a reel of her exciting find. "I am SHAKING!!!! Never in a million years did I ever dream I would find these," she wrote in the caption. "Does this go down in history as my best find yet? It just might."

Each jar in the collection showcases a unique lighthouse design featuring soft pastel hues and intricate detailing. The charming collection includes spice jars of all sizes, from tall towers to small lighthouses. It's perfect to display in the kitchen and embodies the coastal design trend that has taken over in recent years.

The video has over six million views and thousands of comments on Instagram. Fellow thrifters and Lenox Spice collectors flooded the comment section, sharing their excitement.

Their surprise is understandable. Spice jars from this collection are extremely hard to find on resale websites. If you are lucky enough to find the complete set online, expect to spend a pretty penny. One website, OfferUp, has the entire collection priced at $499.

This isn't the first time Hernandez found Lenox items while thrifting. She's come across individual figurines and dishware, but she's never seen an entire set before. "I was ecstatic, and as you can tell by the video, my hands were shaking! I grabbed them as fast as I could and couldn't believe it. I think what was even more lucky was that there were all 24 of the spice jars, a whole complete set," she told decorvow.com.

While Hernandez is elated by her rare find, she says she's planning to sell the collection to purchase her dream spice jar set. "My dream Lenox collection is the Spice Village, so when I sell this collection it will be used towards the Lenox Spice Village set," she said.
