A dog has gone viral on TikTok after his owner posted a video showcasing his rare breed, sparking a heated debate about the dog's actual breed.

In February, the owner of a dog named Havoc posted a TikTok under the account @havocs_space. In the video, Havoc stood still, adorably staring at the camera to highlight his beautiful features. The video text read, "very few people have heard of his breed," sparking conversation as viewers guessed his breed. The caption of the TikTok added, "Hint: he's part wolf."

Havoc's cuteness attracted over 12.1 million views, 2.7 million likes, and over 16,000 comments. TikTok users quickly became obsessed with guessing Havoc's breed, leaving comments about what they think his breed mix is—and fawning over his cuteness. "Breed: cutie patootie," one person commented. Another wrote, "A blue bay shepherd, we had one in my grooming salon a few weeks back."

"His previous owners said he was a mix of Siberian Husky, Malamute, and German Shepherd," the owner told Newsweek. Although the owner hasn't conducted a DNA test and doesn't know Havoc's exact breed, they believe he resembles a Blue Bay Shepherd, a dog bred from the German Shepherd and dogs with wolf ancestry. The American Kennel Club does not currently recognize the Blue Bay Shepherd as an official dog breed, so the specifics of this breed and their origins are unclear.

We can only hope Havoc's owners decide to do a DNA test so we can all sleep peacefully knowing Havoc's real breed makeup.
