This resulted in the food safe ink printing on some cups to run when exposed to high temperature, high-pressure water used in a K-cup machine." So far, there have been no reports of illness or injury associated with the recall. The FDA recently labeled the recall a Class III, meaning exposure is unlikely to cause "adverse health consequences." However, customers should not use the cups and either throw the product away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
