Fortunately, The Old Farmer’s Almanac has just released its Thanksgiving 2025 Travel Weather Map, which breaks down the holiday forecast by region to assist in planning your travel. According to the Almanac, the holiday will bring a patchwork of weather across the country, with sunshine in much of the East and rainy conditions in the West. Snow will be limited to a few northern areas, including northern New England, the Upper Midwest, the higher elevations of the Intermountain West, and Alaska, where flurries could impact travel. Be prepared for potentially slick roads if you're driving during this time. Elsewhere, precipitation will be scattered: the Southwest desert regions and southern Texas may see isolated showers, while the Ohio Valley and the central U.S. could see passing showers later in the holiday week. Texas, the Southwest, and the Deep South will have the warmest temperatures around Thanksgiving.
