To help you get ready for the upcoming season, the Old Farmer's Almanac has just released its predictions for the fall weather forecast. It appears that even more warm and humid days are headed our way across all regions of the U.S. Beginning in September and lasting through October, most of the U.S. will experience warm, dry weather, except for the cool, dry conditions predicted for the northeast and midwest regions. According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, the cooler temperatures and below-average rainfall could result in beautiful foliage in the Northeast, along with above-normal hurricane activity and a higher number of named storms. The Midwest will also see cooler, drier conditions than normal in the fall, with frequent rain and possibly some early snow in the northern areas. The Southeast will experience warmer-than-normal weather with below-average rainfall, followed by near-normal rainfall and sunny, warm conditions in states like Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Conditions will differ across the western regions of the U.S. In the Desert Southwest, it is expected to be cooler than usual in the east and warmer in the west, with below-normal rainfall across the region. The Pacific Northwest is expected to experience warmer and wetter conditions than usual, with occasional cool spells.
