A devoted early riser, Martha usually starts her day by visiting the horses at the stable and heading to the gym for Pilates. But before any of that, she does some self-care.

Martha recently shared her morning routine with Vogue for the magazine's "Beauty Secrets" video series, walking viewers through the steps and products she uses daily to get her signature glowy complexion.

Wearing a beautiful blue linen night slip, Martha starts by simply refreshing her face with a hot cloth, followed by a cold cloth to calm her skin and make her "feel fresh." She explains that she washes her face before bed with Mario Badescu A.H.A. Botanical Body Soap—she's been visiting the Mario Badescu spa for more than 45 years—so there's no need to cleanse again in the morning.

Of course, she also takes her Elm Biosciences Inner Dose Daily Skin Supplements and applies her Elm Biosciences A3O Elemental Serum. She rubs the serum all over her face and décolletage. "My skin feels taut, it feels cool, it smells really good, and it's a little bit tingly. I love that feeling," she says of her skin after applying the serum.

Next, she combines two extra pumps of her serum with Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral Sunscreen and L'Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion. "It gives you that glow that is so important," she says. "I like to glow. I don't like matte finishes pretty much on anything. I like my furniture to be shiny. I like my face to be shiny." She rubs any extra product into her hands to protect them from the sun, as she is outdoors quite a bit.

After dusting on bronzer, blush, and highlighter, she then applies two different shades of Armani Beauty Longwear Liquid Eyeshadow to her lips. "Who knew that you could use eyeshadow on your lips so effectively?" she says about her beauty trick. Martha finishes the look with Lancôme eyeshadow and eyeliner and a dab of lip gloss.

After getting camera-ready, she shares her secrets to taking the perfect selfie. "Fluff up your hair a little bit," she says, adding that you should always hold the camera high and look up because it "gives you a nice jawline." Make sure the light is on your face and pose.

In addition to her skincare and makeup routine, Martha also credits her healthy hair and skin to exercising, eating well, wearing sunblock, and drinking her green juice everyday. "My whole theory of skincare is inside, outside," she explains. "Whatever you put inside, reflects what's coming on the outside."
