‘Yes, Chef!’: Martha Will Co-Host New NBC Cooking Competition This Spring

Culinary legends, friends, and now co-hosts, Martha and José Andrés are teaming up for a new cooking competition series, Yes, Chef!, that will premiere on NBC this spring.

Yes, Chef! is a cooking competition that brings hot-tempered, talented chefs from all over the culinary world together, according to NBC. The series challenges them not only on their high-stakes cooking skills but also on their ability to overcome egos, intensity in the kitchen, and short-tempered personalities that hinder their full potential.

The 12 chef candidates are nominated by friends, family, co-workers, and bosses to face the ultimate challenge. Throughout the competition, Martha and José will guide each chef through high-stakes culinary challenges, designed to encourage personal growth and help them transform their fiery personalities in the kitchen. To reach the end, the chefs must prove they have personally transformed and have the right attitude to bring into their work outside of the competition.

The chef who shows the greatest improvement in cooking, teamwork, and behavior will win the $250,000 grand prize, sponsored by the popular granola brand, Purely Elizabeth.

Yes, Chef! premieres Monday, April 28, at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
