Martha Reveals She Has Never Ordered Food Delivery: 'I Will Go Out, or I Will Not Eat'

Yesterday, during an appearance on the The Kelly Clarkson Show, Martha revealed that she prefers dining out over ordering in. She was there with José Andrés to promote their new food competition show,Yes, Chef!, which premiered Monday night on NBC.

During their conversation with Clarkson, Martha and Andrés chatted about the restaurant scene in Toronto, where their show was filmed. After 12-hour-long shooting days, Andrés revealed that Martha was eager to explore local restaurants, sometimes wanting to go to multiple places in one evening. "I don't know where she gets so much energy!" he said.

Clarkson agreed, saying she is typically too tired to go out after work and would rather get delivery. That's when Martha shared a confession, saying, "Do you want to know a secret? I've never ordered in."

Andrés and Clarkson were shocked that Martha had never ordered food delivery. Clarkson shouted, "Are you kidding me?!" while the crowd gasped in surprise. "I will go out, or I will not eat," Martha said. But their shock quickly turned to praise, with Clarkson telling Martha she's "so proud" of her. Andrés even got on his hands and knees to bow down to Martha, saying "you're so pure."

Martha and Andrés also shared some behind-the-scenes stories about filming Yes, Chef!, a cooking competition that features a dozen chef contestants competing against each other in culinary challenges to win $250,000.
