To help you craft the perfect merry beverage, Drinksworld put together a list of the most popular Christmas cocktails in each state.
To curate its list, the company analyzed Google search data, going over thousands of cocktail-related keywords. "Our research shows that regional favorites span an impressive variety of both hot and cold beverages, paired with a delightful mix of timeless classics and modern cocktails," a spokesperson from the company says.
Drinksworld found that eggnog reigns supreme in 12 states, including Alabama, Arizona, and California. However, in colder states, hot buttered rum is most popular. The drink ranked first in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Maine, Utah, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
The holiday season is also a great time for serving batch cocktails like Christmas punch, which was popular across eight states, including Colorado, Delaware, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Ohio.
Other seasonal favorites across the country include cranberry mimosa, coquito, Irish coffee, and brandy Alexander. Here's which Christmas cocktail is the most popular in your state, according to the report.
