Restocking fresh produce is a weekly occurrence, and it just got a whole lot easier with Little Leaf Farms' all-new variety of romaine lettuce that doesn't need to be washed.

Little Leaf Farms has added a new no-wash Romaine Leaf to its collection of prepackaged greens, which will soon be hitting grocery store shelves nationwide. In addition to this latest release, Little Leaf Farms offers a variety of blends such as Sweet Baby Butter Leaf, Sweet and Crispy, Baby Spring Mix, and more, along with pre-made salad kits for easy, delicious meals.

Ensuring that vegetables and fruits are thoroughly washed before consumption is important, but washing and drying can add extra time to meal preparation. At Little Leaf Farms, preparing salads is simple—they've eliminated pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides from their growing process to deliver safe, fresh produce to customers that requires no washing.

All of their greens are grown in the Northeast in greenhouses using a hands-free method that keeps the greens pristine during the growing process, from seed to packaging. And the company gets points for using recycled rainwater to reduce the water waste that is so prevalent in agriculture.

The new Romaine Leaf comes in the brand's signature plastic clamshell container to keep the greens fresh; the packaging utilizes post-consumer recycled materials. Each leaf is small in size, requiring no chopping before serving.

The products are available in-store and online at popular grocery retailers, including Whole Foods Market, Target, Walmart, Stop & Shop, Hannaford, and Instacart.
