Our blue cheese dressing recipe is a no-cook, five-ingredient classic that takes just a few minutes to make. Equal parts buttermilk, mayonnaise, and sour cream are whisked together with lemon juice. Then, the blue cheese is stirred in so that you retain crumbles of cheese in the creamy dressing. The hardest part might be deciding how to use this versatile dish: As a dip for hot wings, jalapeño poppers, or crunchy crudités, or as a rich dressing for a wedge salad or just about any other vegetable salad.

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients except for blue cheese:

In a small bowl, whisk together buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.

  2. Stir in blue cheese and season:

Stir in blue cheese and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
