Lemon Glaze

It's magical what just two ingredients can make. When confectioners' sugar and lemon are whisked together, they create a silky and bright lemon glaze. This recipe takes advantage of the whole lemon by using both the zest and juice to intensify the citrusy flavor. Spread the glaze on top of Lemon Cookies or drizzle over muffins or pound cake. Be sure to use a microplane to grate the lemon zest and it will seamlessly melt into the glaze.

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together confectioners' sugar and lemon zest and juice until smooth.
