The easiest apple dessert and perhaps the best, our apple crumble recipe is a classic you'll enjoy making all through fall, whether you have freshly picked apples or a selection from the grocery store. Much easier than pie, apple crumble doesn't require any rolling out pastry or fitting pie dough into the dish. Simply prep the apple filling and add it to the baking dish. Then make the buttery crumble topping and add it to the dish. Bake and enjoy. It's simple enough to throw together on a whim and lovely enough to serve at a dinner party. Plus, it contains all the warm flavors of fall in every bite.
