Target is a one-stop shop for food, beauty products, clothes, home décor, seasonal items, and more. If you've been waiting for a location to open up closer to your home, you may be in luck. Target recently announced it is opening seven new locations across the country this fall.

According to its website, Target locations are set to open on October 12 in the following areas:

  • Queen Creek, Arizona: 37854 N Gantzel Road
  • Wesley Chapel Grove, Florida: 27920 Pink Flamingo Lane
  • Grand Island, Nebraska: 3400 West 13th Street
  • Indian Land, South Carolina: 5345 Crossridge Boulevard
  • South Riding Virginia: 24670 Arcola Landing Drive, Building A

The company also plans to open two more stores on October 19 in California and Texas:

  • Fresno Fancher Creek, California: 205 South Clovis Avenue
  • Stafford Kirkwood Road, Texas: 12565 Arc Lane, Stafford

In a recent press release, Target noted that it considers several factors when deciding where it will open additional stories, including community needs, site constraints, and if there are other Target locations in the area. The company also says it is leaning into larger footprints, with six of its new stores being larger than the 125,000-square-foot chain average.

If your city isn't on the list of new locations, don't worry. According to the Minneapolis-based retail company, 44 future store openings are in the works, although opening dates are not yet set. The additional locations will be in cities across Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Kentucky, Ohio, Massachusetts, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
