2025 Will Be the Year of Bold, Colorful Kitchen Appliances—Here's What to Look For A new trend towards vibrant hues will be everywhere this year. Close Credit: KitchenAid The white kitchen, long a staple of the culinary world, is quickly falling out of style. In its place is a new, more vibrant palette for this all-important space, ranging from verdant greens to soft blues. There's no better indicator of this growing trend than the latest introductions unveiled at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), which just wrapped up its latest edition in Las Vegas. On display were a plethora of new kitchen introductions, from bigger and better induction ranges to stylish undercounter refrigerators. But what really stole the show—and became its prevailing theme—was color. Our favorite hue was Juniper, a moody blue-green that feels both subtle and striking—depending on which of the brand's interchangeable hardware options you pair it with. True Residential dabbled in a similarly cool-toned, subtle mode with its newest finish and Color of the Year: Olive. A lovely, delicate green, it's the sort of versatile hue that can pair with almost any interior design scheme. Finally, BlueStar launched its own Color of the Year, as selected by interior designer Tineke Triggs: the warm, cozy Signal Brown. Examples could be found throughout Café Appliances' booth at the show, which opted for a "This Kitchen Looks Great on You" theme that brought together style, function, and color theory. Which hue is your favorite? The best thing about this new movement, perhaps, is that there's a color and mood for just about everyone. Explore more: News Home & Garden News
