Costco Is Expanding This Month—See If Your City Made the List

If you need to stock up on massive packages of toilet paper or rotisserie chicken, you may be in luck. Costco is set to open four new locations in North America later this month, including three in the U.S. and one in Canada.

Known for its signature seasonal products and bulk items, the wholesale warehouse giant is a go-to shopping destination for many card-carrying members, with its footprint continuing to expand.

During an earnings call in March, the company's Chief Financial Officer, Gary Millerchip, stated that Costco aims to open 25-30 new locations annually, with half of them in the U.S. and the other half in international markets. Seven new stores opened across Canada, Mexico, Washington, Texas, Florida, and Nevada in August.

On its "Coming Soon" webpage, Costco currently lists four locations with opening dates in October. This includes a Costco business center, which specializes in extra bulk goods for businesses, that will open in Ontario. Here's where and when the new stores are slated to open:

• Mississauga, Ontario Business Center, Canada (open date: October 28)
• Fruitport, Michigan (open date: October 29)
• Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (open date: October 30)
• Indian Land, South Carolina (open date: October 31)
