Costco Is Expanding This Month—See If Your City Made the List Just in time for the holiday season. Costco is set to open four new locations in North America later this month, including three in the U.S. and one in Canada. Known for its signature seasonal products and bulk items, the wholesale warehouse giant is a go-to shopping destination for many card-carrying members, with its footprint continuing to expand. During an earnings call in March, the company's Chief Financial Officer, Gary Millerchip, stated that Costco aims to open 25-30 new locations annually, with half of them in the U.S. and the other half in international markets. This includes a Costco business center, which specializes in extra bulk goods for businesses, that will open in Ontario.
