Nashia Baker is a dedicated journalist with a love of sharing authentic, original stories with audiences around the world. Nashia's work has been featured in globally leading publications and she formally served as an editor for House Beautiful and Delish.

She makes it her mission to uplift those around her and celebrate their voices through her work. In addition to working as a member of the decorvow and decorvow Weddings teams, Nashia has worked as an editorial lead and planning committee member for People Inc.'s Black employee affinity group to honor and share the contributions of Black people and people of color in the world of media and entertainment.

Education

Nashia graduated from the University of Kansas as a journalism major, with a news and information focus, and as a Spanish minor. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree following her undergraduate education and served as an honorary member of the journalism school during President Obama's visit to the university, a letter winner and academic All-American as a cross country and track and field athlete, and a multimedia journalist for the university.
