Walmart Just Slashed Thanksgiving Prices—How to Get a Full Feast for Less Than $4 a Person

Walmart is bringing back its annual Thanksgiving meal deal. The specially priced cart full of holiday essentials features over 20 national and private brand items, including a Butterball turkey.

The meal is designed to serve 10 people and costs less than $40—that's under $4 per person. It's the lowest price since the retailer first launched the program in 2022.

New this year and in response to customer feedback, Walmart has also created three meal baskets with gluten-free items, high-protein swaps, and ingredients for a prime rib dinner. Plus, the retailer is offering free express delivery for first-time pickup and delivery customers.

In addition to the Butterball turkey, the traditional meal package includes:

1 can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
3 cans of green beans
Fried onions
2 boxes of Stove Top stuffing
12-count pack of dinner rolls
5-pound bag of Russet potatoes
12-ounce bag of fresh cranberries
2-pound bag of baby carrots
3 cans of corn
3 boxes of macaroni and cheese
2 packets of gravy mix
Pie crusts
1 can evaporated milk
1 can of pure pumpkin

"We know every dollar and minute counts, which is why we are offering a low-priced, one-click Thanksgiving Meal Basket featuring iconic brands like Butterball and Stove Top alongside trusted Walmart private brand items. We want every family to be able to share a meal and celebrate without compromising on quality, quantity, or tradition," John Furner, president and CEO of Walmart U.S., said in a statement.

The holiday meals can be purchased with a single click online or in stores nationwide. Meal prices are valid now through December 26. Additional pick-up, shipping, or delivery fees may apply and will be disclosed before purchase. Keep in mind that item availability may vary by store location. The offer is not available in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

At check-out, customers can also add a donation to The Salvation Army to support families in need.
