Actor Glen Powell recently joined Martha on an episode of The decorvow Podcast to talk about his new condiment brand, Smash Kitchen, how his family and life in Texas inspire him, and what's next in his acting career (yes, there's another Top Gun in the works!). We're sharing all the juicy details of their fun conversation.

Smash Kitchen offers healthier versions of eight classic pantry staples: classic tomato ketchup, hot honey ketchup, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, American-style BBQ sauce, real mayonnaise, spicy mayonnaise, and hot honey BBQ sauce. When Martha asks about the name Smash Kitchen, Glen explains that when something's good, he and his friends say, "Man, that was a smash." The name also reflects the brand's mission: to smash the idea that organic products have to be expensive and taste bland.

Growing up in Austin, Texas, and as a seventh-generation Texan, Glen and his family often made their own hot sauce and barbecue sauce—sometimes to spice things up, other times to make them sweeter. While living in Los Angeles, Glen became more aware of the ingredients in store-bought condiments and was inspired to make a change. "I feel like creating my own was the way to go," says Glen.

Like Martha, Glen loves to entertain at his Texas ranch, frequently inviting friends for game days or barbecues to stay in touch. On the menu? Tender and juicy pork ribs. "So what do you drink?" asks Martha. "I'm a tequila man," says Glen. As a tequila drinker herself, Martha told him about her delicious Martha-Rita, a pomegranate margarita full of fresh lemon, lime, and pomegranate flavors with a sugary rim (that happens to be on the menu at her Vegas restaurant, The Bedford).

Beyond all things entertaining and Smash Kitchen, Martha chatted with Glen about his acting career and what's coming up next. Glen confirms he is working on Running Man and Chad Powers, and there will be a Top Gun 3 movie where he'll return as Hangman. Martha asks, "So what do you want listeners to know about the business of movies?" Glen says that he is focusing on reminding people of "the magic of the theatre" and bringing groups of people together. He adds that he only picks films he'd love to watch on the big screen.

Martha and Glen wrapped up their conversation with a lightning round of questions on a few of his favorite Texas barbecue dishes. Martha: "Hot dogs or hamburgers?" Glen: "Hot dogs." Martha: "Brisket or ribs?" Glen: "Ribs." Martha: "Best side dish at a barbecue?" Glen: "Coleslaw."
