Check your pantry. John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. is recalling some snack mix products because of possible salmonella contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The recall is related to the larger recall of dry milk powder by California Dairies, Inc., which has also affected Ghirardelli beverage mixes and Zapp's and Dirty brand potato chips.

The snack mixes were flavored with a seasoning manufactured by a third-party supplier that contained the recalled dry milk powder. The affected seasoning batches tested negative for salmonella before use, but as a precautionary measure, John B. Sanfilippo & Son is recalling the snack mixes with the seasoning.
