To celebrate her 100th book, Martha: The Cookbook, Martha held a book signing party on Thursday, December 5 at Sasha's Barn House in Greenwich, Connecticut. More than 200 people attended the event and had the opportunity to hear Martha speak and get their copies of her book signed. She recapped the event in a recent blog post.

"Attendees enjoyed flipping through the pages and seeing well-loved recipes such as my mother's Potato Pierogi, my own decadent Gougères, my delicious Paella, my daughter's famous Chocolate Chip Cookies, and more," Martha writes. "Martha, The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes With Lessons and Stories From My Kitchen is a lovely and useful book- you'll want to read it cover to cover and make every single dish, I assure you."

Martha's book was released on November 12 and quickly became a New York Times bestseller. It features 100 of her favorite recipes and invaluable lessons from her personal life and the kitchen. The recipes featured in the book range from breakfast and brunch to appetizers, cocktails, dinners, and of course, dessert. "I am so pleased with how my book is doing. It is a wonderful collection of recipes, personal stories, and great photographs selected by me from my own archives," she writes.

Sasha's Barn House was the perfect location for Martha's book signing. The beautiful venue features tall barn ceilings, an art gallery, indoor and outdoor seating, a kitchen, and a bar. It was "wonderfully decorated" for the upcoming holiday season, and light snacks and refreshments were provided for attendees of the signing.

Attendees came from around the country to celebrate Martha's 100th book. "One of the attendees, Linda Evans, traveled all the way from Hiawassee, Georgia – a small town about four hours north of Atlanta," Martha writes. Several groups of friends attended the event together for a fun night out, and one couple even brought their dog.

In all, Martha signed more than 200 books, but that didn't phase her. "That's a lot of books but I am certainly accustomed to it. After all, this is my 100th!" she writes.
