22 Lily Wedding Bouquets That Are Perfect for a Spring Celebration

When you begin choosing flowers for your wedding bouquet, you'll likely gravitate towards the classics, like roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. While any of these blooms would be a beautiful choice for your personal bridal arrangement, there's another, perhaps less traditional, flower variety you might want to consider: lilies. What draws brides to this particular bud? Not only are they beautiful, but they also are fragrant and come in many different versions and colorways, meaning they can be added to almost any bouquet at virtually any time of the year. Without a doubt, though, we love them most in spring, when the majority of these pretty buds are in-season.

From trumpets and stargazers to gloriosas and calla lilies, there's bound to be an iteration that pairs well with the other flowers in your bouquet. Need proof? The bride pictured here incorporated bright orange calla lilies into this mix. Their vibrant color only added to the fiery hues of the arrangement's garden roses, tulips, and dahlias.

While lilies clearly enhance a multi-floral arrangement, we do, however, love how they look all on their own. Many minimalist brides opt to carry a single-flower lily bouquet (one modern bride featured in the following slides held only three long-stemmed calla lilies for her walk down the aisle), as opposed to a varied mix. While these flowers often give off nontraditional vibes—especially calla lilies!—they still work alongside more classic wedding blooms. Include them in an all-white rose bouquet to convey a traditional look, for example.

However you choose to include lilies in your big-day bouquet, they'll likely be its focal point. Click through to discover our favorite lily wedding bouquets with classic-meets-contemporary flair.
