Fill the bottle halfway with witch hazel.
Witch hazel helps the oil and water combine and will help the scent linger for a longer period of time.
-
Fill Bottle With Distilled Water
Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. This ratio works pretty well no matter the size of the bottle. Shake the bottle to combine all the ingredients.
-
Insert Flowers and Herbs

Insert a sprig of dried flowers and herbs to finish off your fragrant spray.
Remember that although essential oils are derived from all-natural ingredients, they can still be strong! Be sure to handle undiluted products with care.
How to Use Essential Oil Room Spray
To use your newly fashioned room spray, start by giving it a little shake, then lightly spritzing it around your home on fabric surfaces. The essential oils will permeate the fabric and the scent clings to its fibers, which creates a wonderful-smelling room.
Spray on your couch, pillows, bedding, carpets, curtains, and anywhere else that needs a quick refresh. Just be sure to give yourself a few feet of space between you and the object you are spraying to avoid stains.
Test the spray on a small, inconspicuous area of fabric first to ensure it doesn't cause any staining or discoloration.
