Close Credit: YASU+JUNKO We get it—you want to decorate a pumpkin for Halloween but don't want to deal with the mess of carving. Not cutting into your gourd isn't just cleaner, it also ensures your pumpkin lasts throughout the entire fall season. While painting is a popular no-carve technique, we recommending using clip-art and découpage to create a truly one-of-a-kind design everyone on your block will love. Using our seasonal clip-art and leaf cutouts, you can create a pumpkin that looks like it was made by a skilled artist. Achieve one of two different looks (both pictured above)—one coated in colorful leaves, or paired with a pretty printable bird design—with our exclusive templates. The clip-art was created for us by artist Angie Pickman. Simply print out the templates, apply découpage to the pumpkin, and place the cutouts over the découpage. When cutting out the leaf shapes from tissue paper, add a sheet of plain paper to the top of the stack to keep the tissue from ripping. 41 Pumpkin Stencils and Designs That Will Inspire Your Halloween Display What You'll Need Materials Plain white uncoated paper Precision scissors Colored tissue paper Binder clips Paintbrush Découpage medium Glue stick Pumpkins Pumpkin leaves template Bird template Instructions Cut Out Leaves: Print out the autumn leaves templates and cut out shapes.
