Martha may need to make room on her shelves for a golden statue (or two) soon. Her Netflix documentary—simply titled Martha—is up for two Emmy Awards. It's nominated in the Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special and Outstanding Writing For A Nonfiction Program categories.

Directed by RJ Cutler, the documentary chronicles Martha's achievements and gives viewers a raw, never-before-seen look into her life. The nearly two-hour-long movie draws on hundreds of hours of intimate interviews with Martha and those from her inner circle, along with her private archives of diaries, letters, and footage. It's currently available to watch on Netflix.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Plus, Martha Gardens, the Roku show where Martha shares gardening advice from her idyllic Bedford farm, was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the Instructional/How-To Program category. Those award winners will be announced on October 17 in Pasadena, California.

This isn't the first time Martha has been nominated for an Emmy. To date, she has 23 nominations and 12 wins across various categories, including Outstanding Lifestyle Program, Outstanding Service Show, and Outstanding Lifestyle/Culinary Host.

She even shares an Emmy with her best friend Snoop Dogg. The duo won a Sports Emmy Award for their work on NBCUniversal’s Olympic Games Paris 2024 coverage. Martha and Snoop Dogg served as commentators for the network during an equestrian team dressage event.
