There's an Active Recall on Quaker Oats Pancake and Waffle Mix in 11 States—Here's What to Know The recall is due to undeclared allergens. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently announced an active recall on pancake and waffle mix sold in 11 states. The recall was initiated because the product may contain undeclared milk. On January 14, The Quaker Oats Company recalled its Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix. The mix was sold in 32-ounce boxes and available for purchase as early as November 18. A best-buy date of September 13, 2025 and UPC of 30000 65040 are printed on the top panel of the box. The recalled pancake and waffle mix was distributed to certain retailers in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah, and Wisconsin. So far, there have been no reported allergic reactions following the consumption of the recalled product. No other Pearl Milling Company products are included in the recall, and are safe to consume for those concerned about allergies to milk. The Quaker Oats Company is advising consumers with a milk allergy or sensitivity to throw away the product immediately.
