Beautifully folded napkins can complete your holiday tablescape (or any table setting, really!). If you're looking for inspiration, this Christmas tree napkin fold is a festive choice. Beyond how elegant it looks, the napkin fold can also double as a place card: Simply punch out paper star "toppers" and personalize them with the handwritten name of each guest.

We used a 20-by-20-inch dinner napkin for this fold, which was ironed prior to folding for a crisp look. Choose any color linens that go with your tablescape, but a beautiful green hue will especially complement the forestal fold.

Ensure a crisp and elegant look by using a steamer or an iron on your napkins before you start folding. This will help accentuate the folds and maintain the tree shape better.

Step Three

Fold the open corner's top layer to meet the opposite corner. (This will be the top peak of the "tree.") Repeat with each layer, staggering each one in descending order and tucking each one into the upper fold.
