Based on data from 600 million monthly users, the platform's analysis goes beyond search queries to identify fast-rising patterns, comparing searches from September 2024 to August 2025 against those from September 2023 to August 2024.

According to the social media platform, trends are evolving more than four times faster than they did seven years ago, meaning consumers are fighting trend fatigue. To combat this, people are expected to prioritize self-expression, comfort, and identity curation in the new year, especially when it comes to their living spaces. Think bold stripes, sculptural silhouettes, and a nod to "The Big Top," the name given to the tent of a traveling circus. According to the data, searches for "circus interior" jumped 130 percent, while interest in striped ceilings rose 40 percent. Pinterest says the trick is to find balance by pairing punchy patterns with pared-back palettes so the space feels elevated with just a touch of camp.
