Rescue Kitten Has the Most Adorable Reaction to Owner Saying 'Hi' in Viral TikTok

In a recent viral TikTok video, a cat owner from Minnesota shared how her rescue kitten responds every time she says "hi," and we can't get enough of it. The video has reached more than 4.9 million views.

Back in December, TikTok user @rachelandtea shared this series of videos communicating back and forth with her kitten, Tea. The video consists of the owner, Rachel, saying "hi," and Tea responding back with a meow—every time. Rachel began a 13-day TikTok video series called "Saying hi to my kitten to see how she responds," to share Tea's charming way of communicating.

In the video that went viral, Rachel wrote "POV (point of view): You rescue a kitten, and she answers back every time you say her name," and many viewers shared their reactions to Tea's response in the comments. "Her little meows brought me so much joy," one person said. Another wrote, "She's saying she loves you or "hi mom!" is my guess."

In addition to the response of the cuteness-overload, many viewers shared similar experiences with their gray cats in the comments. "Gray cats are very talkative," one person said. Another wrote: "My gray girlie does this, a little chatterbox."
