A shelter dog's joyful reaction to seeing her new backyard for the first time after getting adopted has captured viewers' hearts and gone viral. Her owner, Taylor Madison, first shared the heartwarming video two years ago on TikTok and recently reposted it on the account to celebrate the second anniversary of the pup's gotcha day.

The video shows the excited pup wiggling eagerly in the car as she approaches her new home and backyard. Madison wrote on the video, "POV: You adopt a dog from the shelter, and she sees her new backyard for the first time." Once the owners get home, the video shows the pup running joyfully and fast around the backyard, exploring her new luscious, green backyard and garden space.

On April 22, Madison reposted the video she had originally made in 2023 when she adopted the pup, captioning it, "Reposting this on her 2 year gotcha day anniversary!!! We love our baby so much and can't imagine life without her!!!" The video has gone viral, gaining over 271,000 views and 54,400 likes. Many viewers have commented on the video, referring to the pup's reaction as having the "zoomies." The video now has more than 1,750 comments.
