The popular skincare brand First Aid Beauty, known for its gentle and hydrating formulas, has issued a voluntary product recall. The brand released over 2,500 jars of their 14-ounce Ultra Repair Cream in the coconut vanilla scent, according to an FDA enforcement report. The product was intended to undergo a quarantine but was accidentally distributed and sold on FirstAidBeauty.com.

"CGMP provides for systems that assure proper design, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and facilities," the FDA's website states. "This includes establishing strong quality management systems, obtaining appropriate quality raw materials, establishing robust operating procedures, detecting and investigating product quality deviations, and maintaining reliable testing laboratories."

The recalled product lot codes are:

  • Lot 24D44, Expiring 4/10/2026
  • Lot 24D45, Expiring 4/11/2026

First Aid Beauty customers who purchased the recalled product were contacted via email and instructed to return the product to receive a replacement. For more information contact customerservice@firstaidbeauty.com or 800-322-3619.
